 GridCARE, Inc. (“we”, “us” or “our”) values your privacy.  In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), we describe how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you access and use our website at www.gridcare.ai (“Site”).  By visiting or using the Site or providing us your personal information, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Policy.  

Please note that this Policy does not apply to personal information we may process on behalf of customers that use our services to process their information.   You must contact those customers to exercise any rights you may have.

If you are a resident of the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights as set forth below.

The Personal Information We Collect About You

We may collect personal information about you directly from you and from third parties, as well as automatically through your use of our Site. 

Personal Information We Collect Directly From You.  We collect personal information directly from you if you email us or communicate with us through any forms that we may provide on the Site.  Such information may include your name, email address, company and other contact information.

Personal Information We Collect Automatically. We may automatically collect the following information about your use of our Site through cookies and other technologies: your domain name; your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your IP address; your device ID; your advertising ID; the length of time you visit our Site; and the referring URL, or the webpage that led you to our Site.  Please see the “Our Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms” section below for more information.   

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provide the Site. We use your personal information to communicate with you about your use of our Site, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer service.

  • Consent. Where you have provided consent, we share your personal information, as described at the time of consent.

  • To Protect Us and Others. We also may disclose the your personal information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our website Terms of Use or this Policy, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
  • Aggregate and De-Identified personal information. We may share aggregate or de-identified information about our Site and users of our Site and services with third parties and publicly for marketing, advertising, research or similar purposes.  

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 

Our Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms 

We may use cookies, tags and other tracking mechanisms to track information about your use of our Site.  Currently, our systems do not recognize browser “do-not-track” requests. You may, however, disable certain tracking as discussed in this section (e.g., by disabling cookies), but such disabling will impair use of the Site.

Cookies.  Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser for record-keeping purposes.   • Functional Cookies: These cookies enable the Site to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the Site.  All information these cookies collect is aggregated. Our Site may contain links to third-party websites.  Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Policy, but instead is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites. We are not responsible for the information practices of such third-party websites.

Retention and Security of Your Personal Information

We generally retain your personal information for such period as we deem necessary for the business purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable law.  We have implemented commercially reasonable precautions to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware that despite our efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.

What Rights Do I Have Regarding My Personal Information

If you want to exercise any rights regarding personal information that you have submitted to us, you can email us at info@gridcare.ai. We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests to the extent required by law, provided that we may be required to retain personal information to comply with legal obligations, accounting requirements, or for other business purposes. We may request additional information to verify the identity of the requesting party before responding to a request.  

Rights of EU and UK Residents

If you are a resident of the EU and UK and your personal information is subject to the protections of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or the UK version of the General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”), then we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:  (1) as necessary to enter and perform a contract, including providing any services to you or your company; and (2) pursuant to our legitimate business interest, such as to contact you about your inquiries and send you information about our products and services.  We may also process your personal information as necessary to comply with law or our legal obligations.

Depending on the country where you are based, you may request the following:  

  • Right to access and rectification: you can request personal information we hold and the correction of any errors of your personal information.
  • Right to erasure/deletion: the right, in certain circumstances, to ask for your personal information to be deleted. In specific cases, we may not be able to delete some types of personal information, in particular, where we have a legal obligation to keep that personal information (e.g., for regulatory reporting purposes), or where you want us to continue to provide you with a service and the processing of the personal information is necessary for the provision of that service.
  • Right to restriction of processing: the right, in certain circumstances, to restrict further processing of your personal information.

  • Right to withdraw consent: you can withdraw your consent at any time in respect of any processing of personal information which is based upon a consent.
  • Right to lodge a complaint before the supervisory authority for data protection in your country, if you consider that your rights under the applicable privacy legislation have been infringed.

What Choices Do I Have Regarding Use of My Personal Information for Marketing?

We may send periodic promotional or informational emails to you. You may opt-out of marketing communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in the e-mail.  If you opt-out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you e-mails about your account or any service you have requested or received from us.

Location of Personal Information

Our Site is offered from the United States.  We store any personal information we collect in the United States.   If you access the Site from outside the United States, you agree to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have less protections for your personal information than your jurisdiction of residence.

Children Under 13

Our Site is not designed for children under 13.  If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.
