GridCARE Named to Fast Company's Annual List of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2026

GridCARE is recognized for its AI-native platform that eliminates the multi-year power bottleneck for AI infrastructure while driving grid reliability and affordability.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — March 24, 2026 — GridCARE, the company accelerating time-to-power for modern AI Factories, announced today that it has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for2026, earning recognition in the Applied AI, Energy, and Small and Mighty categories. GridCARE was recognized for solving the most urgent bottleneck in the global AI race: immediate access to power.

The global race to build AI infrastructure is accelerating, but the pace of development is increasingly constrained by power. GridCARE earned its place on the Fast Company list by introducing the GridCARE Energize™ platform, an end-to-end AI-native platform for data center energy activation and delivery. Beyond accelerating AI infrastructure, GridCARE's innovations address the pressing issue of electricity affordability. By aligning data center load with real-time grid conditions, GridCARE increases utility-asset utilization and spreads fixed grid costs across the system. This avoids unnecessary, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure upgrades and appliesdownward pressure on electricity rates for all customers.

Research from Stanford University indicates gridinfrastructure operates at roughly one-third utilization under normalconditions. The GridCARE EnergizeTM platform uses advanced AI models, grid simulations, and real-time system intelligence to identify underused capacity. GridCARE helps hyperscalers, neo clouds, colocation providers, and powered-land developers find power to expand their existing sites to accommodate high-density AI servers, as well as identify new greenfield locations with a power-first lens.

“Power is the defining constraint of the AI era. GridCARE uses code, not copper, to unlock capacity that already exists, delivering power in months, not years. By identifying underutilized capacity and navigating constraints in real time, we accelerate AI deployment, strengthen national security, and lower costs.”

— Amit Narayan, CEO and Founder, GridCARE

GridCARE recently demonstrated the massive scale of its innovation by partnering with Portland General Electric (PGE). In Hillsboro, Oregon, one of the nation's fastest-growing data center markets, GridCARE successfully optimized flexibility solutions to accelerate 400 MW of capacity years ahead of schedule. This work was cited by the World Economic Forum Innovation Playbook for Future Power Systems.
